Important changes will be discussed at this Friday night’s vendor meeting. We need your help, suggestions and comments. We need to take a pulse of how things are going and tell you also what we are doing to make things better.

Please join us promptly at 7pm. Rosa will lead the meeting in Spanish and there will be an intrepetator for us English speaking folks (I love this about our market).

I was camping but this is what I heard

Yes, even I need to get away every once in a while…so yes, I missed the market this past weekend. But it didn’t stop me from hearing about it. Did you go? What did you see? You can always leave a comment and tell us what worked well and give us suggestions.

So I hear we had 21 vendors this time. Or something like that. food, services, clothing, jewelry, ice cream, veggies, and massage. But they also brought in a bouncy house for the kids to play in for free while parents shopped. And there were boxing demonstrations as well.

It’s never a dull moment in South Park and why should the market be any different. So our next market is August 14th. You should just come for the day. Start with coffee. Get your brakes fixed or that new set of tires, shop the market, mingle with and in our community, walk down to the river and look for the resident otter, grab dinner and stay for our outdoor cinema. The movie events start at 8:30pm and the movie title that night will be “Where the Wild Things Are”. Admission is free, bring the family and friends, join us for a small town feeling, down to earth, day in Seattle. If you want, bring a can food donation for the local food bank.
